Wanted Vineland Murder Suspect Turns Himself In: Prosecutor

A 31-year-old fugitive wanted for murder turned himself in on Friday, March 22, authorities said.

Angel A. Aguero, of Vineland, was sought in the slaying of Dashon Lee, 35, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.

He was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses, she said.

Lee was fatally shot on March 9 at the Asselta Acres Apartments, according to Webb-McRae.

Two other men were previously arrested in connection with the shooting, Webb-McRae said on Thursday, March 21. Jamin Carney, 28, of Millville and Chavez Mills, 26, of Vineland, were both charged on March 14, she said. Carney was charged with murder and conspiracy. Mills was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
